Pressroom
The pressroom at Bulkley Valley Printers consists of state-of-the-art presses capable of printing both short and long runs, single and multiple colours with superb image quality. We have three qualified press operators in our pressroom, with a combined total of 80 years’ experience. We are looking forward to the purchase of a new press in the very near future to allow us with even more growth in the full-colour printing market.
To compliment all of our presses, we installed a computer-to-plate system specifically designed to give us first-generation quality on all our printed jobs. With our reputation on the line, we take every job very seriously when it comes to quality and accuracy.
We also realize that our clients not only demand the best in quality and accuracy but also environmental responsibility. That’s why Bulkley Valley Printers believes we have to embrace change and commit to using only vegetable based inks and Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) free solvents in our pressroom. Any and all waste paper generated in our pressroom is also collected and sorted for recycling.
Bindery
Bulkley Valley Printers’ bindery department consists of all new, innovative equipment geared to finish your job to any specification with a professional look that will keep your clients impressed.

Our newest piece is a Digi-Fold, allowing us to score and fold in one pass. This is especially valuable when doing fold-over cards and folded brochures as it eliminates cracking of the sheet along the fold. This is just one more step in our continuing quest for quality.
Additional machines in our bindery department are a 30” hydraulic cutter; high-speed folder; industrial stitcher allowing us to staple books up to 1.125” thick; automatic booklet maker that allows us to collate, fold, staple and trim the book in one pass; numbering and perforating machine; 27” laminator and pouch laminator; two coil binding machines, one cerlox binding machine and one wire-bind machine.
